The Army & Navy club in St.James Square in Mayfair wanted to create a contemporary space for drinking and dining so that its younger members could feel well catered for.
Considering that the colourful bars that identify campaigns fought in are called ribbon bars, we thought it completly appropriate to call the space The Ribbon Bar. With some research into the meaning of the strips, we created some very accomplished decorations!
As soon as it launched, the bar was declared a roaring success and the courageous bar-goers are often seen revelling late into the night.
The ribbon bar graphic device is applied to other elements of the experience including the terrace crockery.
You could say its the best decorated crockery in the military.
